Laina Mae Kirkeide

Thank you for visiting my website and your interest in learning more about my ballet and academic life. I am a South Floridian living in New York City as I attend The School of American Ballet. My ballet journey is diverse; I began as a competitive contemporary dancer and trained first in the Cuban style, then in the Russian Classical style, and now in Balanchine. My life in New York City has broadened my curiosity in economics and culture and the nature of their intersection and communication. I enjoy sharing my love for, and dedication to, my artistic and academic pursuits by participating in outreach and mentoring programs.
